None at all. Our adult classes welcome complete beginners and we have dedicated Fundamentals classes specifically designed for people who have never trained before. Just show up — we'll take care of the rest.

Our youngest program, Mighty Mights, starts at age 3. Lil Ninjas runs for ages 6–9, and Tweens covers ages 10–15. We also offer Family Martial Arts where parents and kids train together.

Gi BJJ uses a traditional kimono (gi) to grab and control your opponent — it's slower, more technical, and great for learning fundamentals. No-Gi uses regular athletic clothing, creating a faster, more dynamic style of grappling. We offer both.

Active duty law enforcement officers train free of charge at Global BJJ until they earn their blue belt. It's our way of supporting the officers who serve our community. Contact us to get started.
