Our Story

IBJJF-Recognized Academy Founded by a 7-Time World Champion

Global Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is Naples, Florida's premier IBJJF-recognized BJJ academy — founded and led by 7-time World Champion Mestre Denis "Deninho" Mitchel Pinto.

Mestre Deninho didn't open a gym to train elite competitors. He opened one to create a place where any person — regardless of age, fitness level, or experience — could discover what Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is really about.

At Global BJJ, you train alongside an active world medalist and a coaching team of dedicated black belt instructors who share that mission: to help every student grow stronger, more confident, and more capable on and off the mat.

Mestre Denis "Deninho" is a 7-time BJJ World Champion and the founder of Global BJJ in Naples, FL. An IBJJF-recognized Mestre-level black belt who still actively competes and wins at the world level, he brings championship-grade instruction to every class.
